Expecting only to get out and get a few shots of the ice and snow Saturday Morning, we were treated to a show by three cedar waxwings feeding on berries on a tree along the Ohio River. These guys paid no attention to us, and allowed us to walk right up to them.

These are lovely. Ice aside, something points to spring.
Cool! I've never seen these birds locally--the only time I've seen them was on Orcas island in Washington.
